Pre-Kindergarten!
Learning Through Play!
Mrs. Christina Sondej proudly adheres to the highest standards of education and caregiving. She has been an Early Childhood Educator for over 25 years. Her curriculum was featured at the 2019 National Catholic Educational Association Conference in Chicago and was presented in Denver. It has also been used at Loyola University by the co-director of the Greeley Center for Catholic Education and Assistant Professor to show how to maximize instruction with intentional curriculum.

At St. Mary of Gostyn, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique classroom offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, children reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.

Mrs. Sondej is excited to be welcomed to the SMG family after teaching at St. Dominic, Bolingbrook for 20 years. St. Dominic closed in 2022 and she will always love her St. Dominic years but is embracing her new school and new school family!
Our Mission
What We’re All About
The St. Mary of Gostyn Early Childhood Program is founded on a basic belief in the dignity of each child as a unique person created by God.
Parents as primary educators form the basis of a child’s earliest learning experiences. In partnership with parents, the program builds upon this foundation, and provides developmentally appropriate experiences designed to meet the needs of the individual child
